Hello Beautiful Listeners,
I’m on the precipice of some major life transitions personally, and this theme just really spoke to my heart. I hope that it resonates for you as well.
As we all know, setting goals is an important part of transform your life and personal growth. In this episode, I discuss some of the pitfalls that come with traditional goal setting practices and suggest that perhaps we can be more successful if we approach goal setting from a place of reverence and respect. This is something I figured out how to put into practice when I was recovering from cancer treatment, which I describe in the episode.
The art therapy experiential encourages you to discover how to transform the relationship between yourself, your goals, and your heart as a way to actualize this idea. I hope that it serves you well.
I thought that you all might like to have some of the questions I ask during the guided meditation, just in case you’d like to go back to them. Here’s a preview of the questions you’ll here in the guided meditation portion.
You may ask your heart…
How do you feel about my intention?
What small step can I take towards this goal?
How does this goal want to be expressed as an act of self-love?
How do these acts of self love feel?
Feel free to reach out anytime, by hitting reply to this email or leaving a comment in the section below.
From my heart to yours,
Stephanie
PS. An oldie but a goodie from the Therapy Thursday Blog series I did. One of my favorite quotes about the heart.
