Finding Your Pathway towards Radiance
Your unique glow + a new art therapy guidebook for working with resistance, setbacks, and roadblocks
Hello beautiful readers,
May is Women’s Health month, something that I’m particularly passionate about. In my opinion, health is something that’s ever evolving, which means that being flexible and nimble will help you navigate those waters. Easier said than done, of course.
What I stumbled upon after my breast cancer treatment ended was the importance of 2 perspectives- 1) focusing my healing efforts on the present situation so that I could be realistic and feel a sense of “I can do this” AND 2) thinking about how I wanted to feel in my body, mind, and spirit as a way to inspire me to do what I could do to live well.
This kept me focused on what feels possible today AND kept me connected to how my cumulative efforts were positively impacting me in my daily life. This meant that I felt way less overwhelmed by the prospect of healing and re-established the belief that I could, in fact, feel confident in my capacity to INFLUENCE my life (an important mindset to have as an antidote to control).
Over time, I began to understand that what I’ve been cultivating for nearly a decade now is something I like to call radiant health. Here’s why I believe that each person is capable of radiant health- no matter what circumstances you are facing.
Radiant health is your unique glow that comes from taking care of yourself, being thoughtful and kind about your needs, and realizing that health is not a destination that society dictates. Rather it’s something that ideally is defined by you and based on your committed action.
This, my friends, is delicious, because you get to be at the center of what matters most to you. What you want… How you want to feel… How you can collaboratively work with your body, mind, and spirit… this is where radiance comes from.
From there, build a process and a plan for yourself that takes into consideration the who, what, and where. It’s important to not do this completely on your own. I cultivated the expertise and support I needed and I called them my healing team.
If you spark your curiosity, I believe that you will find your way to live radiantly. This is the wish that I hold for all of us. I’ll be talking about it a lot on TikTok in May- you can access my profile in the links below.
In the meantime, living radiantly is absolutely going to involve resistance, setbacks, and roadblocks. So I’m really thrilled to offer my latest art therapy guidebook as a way to work with these challenges. Of course, you can also consider setting up a free consult if you’d like to explore my individual coaching services.
I’d love to hear what you’re wanting for yourself today…. let’s talk about it in the comments below. And if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask below or send me an email.
From my heart to yours,
Stephanie
PS. By the way, I need to take a break from offering the live art therapy workshops- but they’ll be back soon. In the meantime, stay tuned for announcements related to collaborations that will bring opportunities for us to work together!
What I’m listening to right now…
This is my playlist that helps stoke my courage to be brave and to believe in how I feel called to serve the greater good: What I want, Wants Me.
Each song has lyrics that speak to me about what I need to have faith in the process. I’m setting the intention now to officially write them down, so that I can read them like a poem for inspiration.
Your Art Therapy Guidebook…
(P.S. you don’t have to be an artist to do this!)
Before doing this exercise, set yourself up for doing some art and writing. Any kind of art medium will work- so chose something you have on hand or treat yourself to a few supplies. Here’s my basic list for starting an art journal.

I’d love to hear from you about how this prompt went for you. Feel free to ask questions and share in the comments below or email me directly!
Behind-The-Scenes Look at the Publishing Process
I’m so excited to share that for the first time I am being paid for an article! Spirituality & Health is publishing a piece I wrote about using art therapy for chronic pain. It officially posts to their website on May 22nd, so I will share the article in June’s newsletter.
Since starting with Leedom PR, I’ve been published by Wellness.com, YourZenMama, The Good Men Project, The Elephant Journal, and Professor’s House- with multiple articles on each site. And I’ve just signed a contributor’s contract with Mother.ly so my visibility is on the rise. This feels good.
I appreciate you all, my readers, for being a vital part of this newsletter and for your support! It means so much to me.
My TikTok posting has been nearly daily since I began the challenge. In honor of Women’s Health month, I’m focusing a lot on creating radiant health. If you’d like to check out those videos, here’s my profile. I do crosspost on my Instagram and I intend to share more on Substack with the Notes feature, but managing it by myself has been challenging because of time constraints.
Upcoming Workshops-
On hiatus right now- but I will keep you posted about upcoming opportunities that I’m working on.
Have a beautiful day! XO, Stephanie
